Short Discussion After Ten Second Kiss

Last night The Husband and I indulged in our nightly routine, the ten second kiss. It was awesome, as usual. I like to pay compliments when warranted, and the following conversation ensued:

Me: *sigh* You're the best kisser in the universe.

TH: Awwwwww.....(feigning modesty)

Me: Well, you are!

TH: Awwwwww.....(feigning modesty + coyness...... seriously?)

Me (because I'm an encouraging wife who supports change and growth in a spouse): Just shut up and say thank you.

TH: You say the sweetest things. And then you say something else.

Ain't love grand?
