One comment = one entry for the giveaway
One comment + a subscription = two entries for the giveaway.
Each person may have TWO entries (maximum). You don't get an extra entry if you comment more than once. If you have already subscribed, you already have a "ticket" -- besides, you can only subscribe once. The contest begins whenever I post and ends at midnight (CST) on Monday, April 9.
The prizes (the real real reason you're here) are all from the lovely Parachute Promise:
- Cap + key ring
- T-shirt + key ring
- Mug + key ring
Now that that's out of the way......LET'S PAR-TAY!
First, grab yourself some cake and bubbly. Now, turn up your speakers so we can jam!

This last song is called "May the Light of Love" by David Roth. It's a good Thanksgiving Day song, but I think it's great for every day. I'm truly so grateful and humbled by the fact that you read and enjoy my little corner of the blogsphere. Thank you, thank you, thank you! May the light of Love be with you every day! xoxo MUAH!
As we come around to take our places at the table
A moment to remember and reflect upon our wealth
Here's to loving friends and family, here's to being able
To gather here together in good company and health
May we be released from all those feelings that would harm us
May we have the will to give them up and get them gone
For heavy are the satchels full of anger and false promise
May we have the strength to put them down
May the light of love be shining deep within your spirit
May the torch of mercy clear the path and show the way
May the horn of plenty sound so everyone can hear it
May the light of love be with you every day
May we wish the best for every one that we encounter
May we swallow pride and may we do away with fear
For it's only what we do not know that we have grown afraid of
And only what we do not choose to hear
May the light of love be shining deep within your spirit
May the torch of mercy clear the path and show the way
May the horn of plenty sound so everyone can hear it
May the light of love be with you every day
As we bless our daily bread and drink our day's libation
May we be reminded of the lost and wayward soul
The hungry and the homeless that we have in every nation
May we fill each empty cup and bowl
May nothing ever come between or threaten to divide us
May we never take for granted all the gifts that we receive
Being ever mindful of the unseen hands that guide us
And the miracles that cause us to believe
May the light of love be shining deep within your spirit
May the torch of mercy clear the path and show the way
May the horn of plenty sound so everyone can hear it
May the light of love be with you every day
May the horn of plenty sound so everyone can hear it
May the light of love be with you, may the light of love be with you

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Bob! Thanks for stopping by the party. Just save a little cake and champagne for everyone else, OK?
ReplyDelete"Congratulations and celebrations" Sips bubbly and eyes up the cake. xxxx
ReplyDeleteGo ahead and dig in! Thanks for coming by!
DeleteMmmm...cake. I'm not difficult to bribe into attendance...
ReplyDeleteWhatever works! lol
DeleteOH! Diet so no cake and I hate champagne. But I’ll STILL dance on the table tops!!! Or do you want me to do the funky-monkey center stage? Love the Thanksgiving song…
ReplyDeleteAlso, thanks for you in sharing the gifts of writing and humor…
From your humble blog activist. *S*

I gotta see that funky monkey, Pamela! I'm setting up the spotlight now.
DeletePS I'm afraid my big fingers clicked on the wrong (and tiny) button on my phone.....in other words, I accidentally deleted your comment on the previous post. Soooo sorry!
Am at work and on hardcore crazy drugs (prescription) so no champagne for me.
ReplyDeleteI would have eaten some cake, but it's gone, because Bob ate it all.
I know it was you BOB, there is frosting ALL OVER YOUR FACE.
I thought I recognized those paws! Bob -- you were supposed to save some for everyone else! Sending you big hugs, Lauren! Thanks for coming by.
DeleteYum, champers and dark choc!
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with people these days? I really hate singers who pronounce the word you as chew... or ask as axe...
I know! As a former English teacher, I believe it's my sacred duty to stomp out improper grammar, spelling and pronunciation! Glad you enjoyed the "treats" and thanks for stopping by!
